Hello [NAME],

Now that the season is winding down, we would like to invite you out to watch our 1^st Annual Coaches vs. Coaches Softball Game.   The softball coaches have done this in the past, but not the baseball coaches.  So, on Saturday, May 23^rd, you will have the opportunity to watch some of your baseball coaches play against each other in a slow-pitch softball game.

There are 4 teams that will participate for both the opportunity to win the coveted trophy, but also the braggin’ rights for the entire year.   The mini-tournament will be Single-Elimination, so the winners of the 1^st game (8:00 AM on Camden Yards and Fenway) will play in the Championship at 10:00 AM on Fenway.  

Also, to make it interesting we will be awarding some of the following prestigious awards:

-         Coaches game MVP

-         “Past my Prime” award (for the player that got hurt and should have sat out J)

-         “Unhitch-the-trailer” award for the player who looks faster than they actually are

-         “Donkey Award” for the one who absolutely makes a fool of him/herself             (purposely or not)

So, before you head to the lake for the weekend, why not stop and pick up some coffee and donuts and head to the park to watch (and heckle) your coaches in action?   Oh, and don’t forget your cameras!
